New York, NY September 10, 2016 \u2014 To celebrate her launch on Adiree.com<\/a>\u00a0 Mary Thondhlana-Moore\u00a0, Founder of Shangani Fashions<\/a> premiered and sold her collection at during New York Fashion Week, at the Adiree concept store in SOHO, 104 Charlton Street (between Hudson Street and Greenwich Street). The concept store took place during New York Fashion Week on Saturday September 10th, as a part of a New York Fashion Week [Africa] activation called\u00a0Trunk Collectives<\/a>\u00a0(www.trunkcollectives.com<\/a>).<\/div>\n

Trunk Collectives is a platform hosting multicultural and ethical brands to present, sell and build brands capacity. The platform is designed to help expand the popularity of vendors as well as to advocate diversity through a contemporary series of sales events and concept stores.<\/div>\n

This year’s platform was sponsored by Aveda and New York Surgical Arts and\u00a0featured other designers from shop Adiree and premium vendors such as\u00a0Sareptha Rose by Robin<\/a> S, Tegaa, and Shangani Fashions<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Shangani Fashions is a brand with clothing provided to fit all occasions. Mary Thondhlana-Moore created the brand based off of her love for traveling. Traveling to many countries such as\u00a0Spain, Turkey, South Africa, USA and more<\/a>, she was able to pull inspirations for her designs.<\/div>\n
