Adiree &amp; luxury beauty partner SABON partnered to feature designers in the upcoming Africa Fashion Week in NY 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The launch event was in an intimate setting; guests attending the event received a closer look at some of the outfits to be featured from designer collections that will be shown at the 2012 Africa Fashion Week in New York (AFW NY) . To view the current designer schedule please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/africafashionweek.com\/newyorkschedule\/\">www.afwny.com\/schedule<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival at the event, guests were pleasantly greeted:, the aroma of spices from products at SABON\u2019s SOHO boutique filled the air upon entrance, soap samples were distributed, models in well designed fashions from designers showcasing in AFW NY- the liveliness of an ever-growing African Fashion industry; the delectable menu of hors d\u2019oeuvres from Dolce Basilico:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Yellowfin Tuna Tartare [hothouse cucumber, coconut milk]<br \/>\n\u2022 Tuna Nicoise [quail egg, nicoise olive]<br \/>\n\u2022 Grilled Shrimp Salad [corn, organic cherry tomatoes, tarragon],<br \/>\n\u2022 Drunken Jalapeno Shrimp [tequila, lime, sea salt]<br \/>\n\u2022 Caprese [tomato, mozzarella, basil]<br \/>\n\u2022 Roasted Vegetable Rolitini Chilled Pea soup [parmesan cream]<\/p>\n<p>All served from dishware designed by home decor Lifestyle Creator Barbara Garnes featuring her signature graphics &#8220;Liberia&#8221; the African toil.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere buzzed of excitement despite some technical difficulties. Adiree\u2019s luxury beauty partner SABON , released the following statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of Sabon, we would like to thank everyone who came to the event held at our Spring Street location last night. As an attendee, you have witnessed the delights of Sabon \u2013 not only as the well known brand in New York City, but also on an international scale.<\/p>\n<p>We have hosted many events in the past, and just like this one, they have turned out successful. The Adiree team was wonderful to partner with. Approximately one hour prior the event\u2019s commencement, we were informed that the air conditioner had stopped working and contacted our maintenance contact immediately.
