After working as a freelance sampler and design assistant for several design companies, he decided it was time to create a business of his own. In 2010, Demestiks NYC by Reuben Reuel launched its first women&#8217;s line which was sold exclusively on edressme.com.<\/p>\n<p>Reuben is dedicated to providing contemporary, classic designs with a hint of vintage flair. The aesthetic of the label is finding fabrics that inspire creativity. It&#8217;s initiative is to support domestic commerce, sourcing locally in efforts to help preserve the Garment District.
