Alek Wek is is once again gracing the pages of magazines, this time the British fashion mag, i-D for their summer 2011 the Hedonist Issue. The editorial was shot by photographer Matthew Stone and are filled with color giving it almost whimsical feel. If you look further into the rest of the editorial (see a video of the making of the shoot here) you can see there are some religious themes coming up. I am loving these photos, but I can’t help but feel that they’re slightly reminiscent of those crazy Juicy Couture commercials with giant pastel flowers all over and girls with big eyes floating away on balloons.
