For the first time in history, Volvo Car South Africa is teaming up with three of South Africa’s top designers. The designers include Nkhensani Nkosi, David Tlale, and Gert-Johan Coetzee. Each designer has been assigned a different Volvo depending on their style and personality. They are to test drive the car and then design and create something inspired by that experience. Nkosi has been assigned the Volvo SUV model XC60 with its urban edge, Tlale has a more dramatic and flamboyant style so he has been given the new S60 model, and Coetzee has been given the new Volvo C30 due to his red carpet glam fashions. The finished products should be ready hopefully by the end of June, and these designs will surely be a unique and interestingly modern marriage of fashion and luxury.
