ASIKERE AFANA (Pronounced: Ah- See-Che-Rey Ah-Fawna), is a brand founded by Ashley Alexis McFarlane. McFarlane’s main goal with her brand is to deliver authenticity throughout her designs while giving back to the West African community. Her inspirations derive from her Jamaican and Ghanaian roots, and her designs are created by the hands of local Ghanaian seamstresses. The use of ankara wax print fabric becomes not only a unique outfit, but a piece of a story for consumers to learn more about.
