African-Austratalian designer duo is bringing haute, funky fresh designs straight to your closet! Both College students Amy Iheakanwa and Shetu Simone, present to you their brand that not only embraces their African and Australian culture together but gives you a taste of their love for fashion. SheKudo is a fusion of their Nigerian names. ‘She’ is from the Hausa name Shetu and ‘Kudo’ is from Amy’s Igbo middle name Akudo. SheKudo incorporates common African printed fabrics into their contemporary designs, denim with an edgy twist, creating fashionable designs. SheKudo Designs are for the strong, eccentric, loud, individualistic, and fearless women and men who love fashion!

The Duo recently released a lookbook for their debut Spring/Summer 2013 collection ‘WAHALA’, and had a successful launch party showcasing their eccentric and minimalistic contemporary designs with a touch of Afrocentric print textiles. Best believe you will find me this summer in New York City rocking their sexy designs!
