AFWNY design duo Zeddie Lukoe and Sidney Owino, the masterminds behind Blackbird Jeans are always looking for new business ventures, tackling global fashion, and looking for ways to expand their blossoming design house. They have recently put their bold and vibrant design expertise to work with a new t-shirt (pictured above) which is featured in a variety of colors. With the inspiration for their clothing coming from their Kenyan roots, everything from their t-shirts, to their denim, to their impeccably tailored suits scream strong African pride.
As the designers move forward in their fashion journey they are having a model casting for experienced models tomorrow(10/29) for a runway and trunk show. The casting will take place at 460 Park Ave. & 57th St, New York, NY (6th Floor) from noon-3p.m. If you think you have what it takes to rock Blackbird’s fashion, walk as fiercely as you can down to the casting.
