Cameroonian designer by way of France, Imane Iyissi, has recently released his summer 2012 collection in one of the biggest fashion capitals of the world, Paris. Iyissi has created quite the reputation for himself in the Afro-Caribbean community creating beautifully tailored pieces that gave of an air of chic, elegant sophistication. Much of his inspiration comes from the pre-colonial Black continent, but his influence goes far beyond these ethnic borders. His designs magnify the elegance that is within each woman’s body and reveal harmony. All his designs also reveal just a touch of aristocracy which lend a deep respect toward every woman’s body so as not to reveal it, but just enough to suggest the beauty that is hidden by his clothes.
