Icelandic pop star, Kali, who has been known for her outrageous outfits and her ability to cause a scene was spotted in this dress with African inspired beading. The unique feature about this dress is that if you look closely it has more than just interesting designs, each one of those designs is a bar code that can be scanned by a smart phone. She worked with designer Thorunn Arnadottir to create this dress and made it so that when scanned, the bar code brings you back to a site with photos and videos of her band. This intricate beading has been used by African craftspeople for years and is a signature in many African designs, but with the help of modern technology it has made it even more relevant and useful in design.
