DIY AFRICA: African Print Bow Tie

Just follow these steps and you can make a bunch of different bow ties all day long!

Materials:

 piece of african print fabric (9 inches x 4.5 inches)
 piece of african print fabric (15 inches x 3 inches)
 piece of african print fabric  (1.25 inches x 2.5 inches)
 Needle and Thread
Fabric Scissors
Ruler
Pins
Instructions:
 1.The measurement for the large piece is 9 inches x 4.5 inches. You’ll also need a matching tiny piece that is
2 Fold the long edges in towards the middle.
3. Fold both open ends in toward the middle. At this stage iron it in the rectangle folds for extra crisp edges!
5. Pinch your rectangle in the center to create a bow shape and stitch it at the folds.
6. Fold the tiny piece of fabric just like step 3, iron it, then wrap and stitch it on the center of your bow tie!
7. Now, take the measuring tape and measure the length around your neck so that you can create the strap.
8. With the 15 inches x 3 inches piece, fold the piece of fabric just like step 3, then stitch the center.
9. Then take the same piece of fabric and stitch it to the center of your bow tie!
10. Done! Time to dress up!
