In the fashion world imitation isn’t the biggest form of flattery, it’s a crime. That not only goes for design, but for photography too. South African retailer, Mr. Price, was recently found to have been selling T-shirts with an image by local Cape Town photographer Kelly Berold. Mr. Price has done business with Berold in the past and used her images on clothing items before, but it has been pointed out that this image was used with out Kelly’s consent. Maybe there was some miscommunication along the way, but there is definitely a difference in opinions here and something needs to be sorted out. We will be interested to see if any legal action will be taken and how this issue will be resolved.
