Adirée launches AFWNY 2011 designer videos in anticipation for AFWNY 2012

  

New York, New York – April, 2012 annually produced by Adirée, Africa Fashion Week in New York (AFWNY) showcases luxury and mass African-owned fashion brands through runway shows, exhibitions- and now videos.

In anticipation for AFWNY 2012 (July 12 -18), every month beginning January 2012, Adirée will release individual designer videos from 2011’s showcase of Africa Fashion Week in New York.  Madam Wokie AFWNY 2011 designer video is below:

Designers who showcased during AFWNY 2011 represented various countries in Africa and note- you’ll see many designers from Africa creatively highlighting their cultural within their designs-with or without the use of African prints.

Madam Wokie is an emerging African brand created by Mary-Ann Kaikai in 2009 to design exclusive yet stylish, durable and affordable African garments for all to enjoy. Showcase Date: Saturday, July 16, 2011.
