New Year, New African Fashion

The new year brings a time for change and exciting new revelations in the world of fashion and beauty.  The year 2011 gave us fresh faces like the young African model, Nyasha Matonhodze, stepping onto the scene with Louis Vuitton, Africa Fashion Guide’s online launch, and many new African fashion publications and blogs popping up all over.

This year looks even more promising for the world of African fashion with Le Tabouret D’Or’s imminent launch of their online store, a growing emphasis on ethical fashion and employing local artisans, and of course Africa Fashion Week (NY) 2012 quickly approaching.

We cannot wait to see the African heat that 2012 will bring and all the vibrant color that Africa has to offer.
