The Hub of Africa Fashion Week

Adiat Disu, our Director of Africa Fashion Week in New York will be a guest judge, at the Hub of Africa Fashion Week selecting a designer to showcase at Africa Fashion Week New York 2012.

The Hub of Africa Fashion Week is held in the Ethiopian capital, showcasing the works of young, and very talented African designers. The show theme is Eco-Fashion with the aim to ‘Unite” the Fashion Industry for sustainable development featuring up coming  young designers from all over Africa. Designers from Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Democratic republic of Congo, Angola, Mozambique and Somalia.  All designers must create a line that emphasizes on sustainable development and Eco Fashion.  Three awards will be given out at the end of the show: the chance to participate in Africa Fashion Week in New York, The chance to participate in ethical Fashion Week, in Paris and the retailer Award.
