"Africa Straight Up" Film Receives A Warm Debut In New York


Africa Straight Up is a new 30-minute film that takes viewers on a journey to understand and see for themselves the progress and developments that have been made in technology, business, governance, and education across Africa. Featuring South African Warren Adams, Nigerian hip hop choreographer M.I., and Kenyan technology activist Ory Okolloh the film was given an exclusive release party hosted Africa.com partnered with Adirée , AfriPOP! Magazine, Africa Style Daily, Cocody Productions, Heritage 1960, Africans in the Media & Creative Industry, Hip Hop Saves Lives ; last week. Many important and notable people attended including Africa.com’s CEO, Teresa Clarke, to give this film a debut deserving of an record breaker.
