Beauty Gives Back to Berber Women

When Josie Maran, founder of a cosmetics company that bears her namesake, went on a sourcing trip to Morocco in 2001 for her skincare line she fell in love with the spirit of a tribe of local Berber women who were known for producing argan oil, a Moroccan beauty staple loaded with Vitamin E and responsible for giving you beautiful, supple skin.  She worked out a deal with the women so they would supply her company with the oil, and a beautiful partnership was born.  Now, she wants to give back to the Berber community, so for a limited time only at Sephora if you buy her products, part of the proceeds will go to bring clean water and electricity to the villages of Biougra and Essaouira.  Take a look at how to get these products, and where to buy here.
