New York, NY-June 2012- Chigozie “Chichi” Anaele of Kachi Designs will present her collection at Africa Fashion Week New York, Saturday, July 14th. AFWNY, produced by Adirée, will take place July 12th, 13th, and 14th at the Broad Street Ballroom in New York’s Financial District.
Established 2010, Kachi Designs is an inclusive band of West African influence that endeavors to help women see their own dynamic beauty through brilliant diverse patterns and styles. Chigozie “Chi Chi” Anaele, the designer and founder, conjures up the animated and fun-loving side of every woman through her eclectic collections of contemporary and vintage-inspired apparel and accessories. As an artist and entrepreneur, Chichi transcends the art of Nigerian fashion and elevates it to the finest form.

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and others will showcase.
