New York, NY– JUNE 2012 –  Bookey Attollé of Attollé Collection will showcase Thursday, July 12th at Africa Fashion Week New York. AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th, 13th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.

Designer Bookey Attollé is originally from Nigeria, West Africa but has her main office in Houston Texas.  She specializes in ready-to-wear, custom-made outfits for women of all sizes and shapes. She also creates exquisite pieces for Cocktail, Evening and special occasions while using the finest fabrics from Africa mixed with Italian Linens. Attollé’s design speaks to each of her clients individually—she would sit together with her client to decide what is suitable for the occasion, color, and their body type.

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and others will showcase.
