Perhaps Duro Olowu has packed away the idea of Fashion Presentations or Runway shows. However, his recent lookbook launch is a beautiful disruption in the fashion week cycle- our apologies London Fashion Week. Duro Olowu seems to have no problem pulling out profound lookbooks for us to admire and mentally style ourselves in. In turn, we have no problem taking a mental break from fashion week chasing.
Since arriving on the London fashion scene in 2004, Nigerian-born Duro Olowu has his fan’s tongues wagging with his vibrant mix of African prints, seventies tailoring, and unconventional color combos.
From high-waisted dresses—known as the “Duro”— to wide leg Ankara printed pants, the brand is definitely on the fashion map, and has gained a cult-like following (which we are not ashamed to say that we are apart of ).
