Menswear Made In Angola : Allex Kangala Showcase at Africa Fashion Week in New York

New York, NY-July 2012- Allex Kangala Dianthus D’kangala  showcased on Saturday, July 14th at Africa Fashion Week New York. AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th, 13th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.

Beginning as a model in the fashion industry, later as result of much dedication and love of art of fashion, in 2005 Allex Kangala founded the Dianthus D’kangala, a brand of classic character, combining the beautiful harmony with the classic nobility, spirituality and refinement, features present in his brand and in his collections.

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and others will showcase.

Angolan designer Allex Kangala founded the brand in 2005. The brand dedicates to interpret nobility, harmony, and beauty. Allex Kangala currently resides in Angola and Portugal, working as a fashion designer, developing collections of various projects in Luanda, where he has his store. His brand wears numerous showbiz legends in Angola.
