54 Kingdoms | Storytellers In Fashion

We have dog ears on each page that has been written by Africa Fashion Week (2010) design label 54 Kingdoms.  As we return to review past works, like the impact of the Maasai Dress and their vibrant menswear pieces, one theme is definitely clear:

The art of storytelling.

In the latest chapter of their careers, the duo, Nana Poku & Kwaku Awuah, are presenting their second annual

Storytellers in Fashion!

On Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Farafina Café and Lounge (from 5:00-10:00pm), 54 Kingdoms’ Storytellers in Fashion will give us a chance to view their designs from a deeper perspective.  This event will put you in a different plane; instead of simply appreciating the aesthetic of their brand, you now get the opportunity to understand how all of it comes together (the inspiration).  By using artistic visuals and other creative works, 54 Kingdoms brings their collection to life.

Also, artists will be sharing their pieces; music, poetry, and or comedy.  This is an event that you do not want to miss!
