New York, NY-June 2012- On Thursday, June 7th 2012 at 7pm EST, Adirée will host at SABON, 93 Spring Street New York, New York the launch of showroom Adirée, In anticipation for Africa Fashion Week in NY 2012.

Public awareness of the continent’s fashion industry is growing; and many African designers are adding several design elements to their lines.  Apart from adding luxurious details, a popular design element includes having an eco-friendly twist to works. The sustainable features of the designers surely will take African fashion to the next level.

AFW NY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, will take place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12th, 13th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.

AFWNY includes runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those of the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions will showcase.
