The vibrant work of fashion designer Karen Walker has surfaced again! Following the collaboration with Ari Seth Cohen on a seasoned women’s project and the ADORABLE campaign with kids last year, the exhilarating designer partnered with The United Nations’ Ethical Fashion Initiative to deliver to us a powerful campaign.
For her S/S 2014 Collection “Visible”, Karen tasked some of Kenya’s finest micro-producers, designers and artisans with designing and producing an array of cases/pouches to pair with her eyewear range. Her aim was to promote sustainable business over aid, backing the initiative with the motto “Not Charity, Just Work”. The designers were then celebrated and used as the models for the collection.
